Oggetto: Corso 2011 per Operatori religiosi e laici di Biblioteche, Archivi e Musei cappuccini
Carissimi Colleghi Archivisti, Bibliotecari e Direttori di Musei Cappuccini,
proseguendo l’iniziativa di promuovere la collaborazione attiva tra le Istituzioni culturali dell’Ordine, comunichiamo che il Corso 2011 per Operatori religiosi e laici di Biblioteche, Archivi e Musei cappuccini, destinato a quanti prestano il loro servizio culturale a livello provinciale e conventuale nel nostro Ordine, si terrà a Roma, presso questo Collegio Internazionale San Lorenzo da Brindisi, da lunedì 29 agosto a sabato 3 settembre 2011.
Il Corso, che è offerto insieme ai Bibliotecari, agli Archivisti e ai Direttori di Musei cappuccini, prevede giornate distinte dedicate in modo particolare alle Biblioteche, agli Archivi e ai Musei. E’ prevista anche una visita alla Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana. Lingue del Corso: italiano e inglese.
Quest’anno saranno trattate insieme le seguenti tematiche:
a) Collaborazione fra Istituzioni culturali cappuccine mediante i sistemi informatici in uso presso l’Archivio Generale, la Biblioteca Centrale Cappuccini ed il Museo Francescano, con illustrazione del Portale internet e dei servizi informativi offerti dalle Istituzioni culturali dell’Ordine:
saranno affrontate le questioni inerenti l’aggiornamento dei sistemi informatici, con riferimento anche a quelli attualmente in uso presso l’Archivio Generale, la Biblioteca Centrale ed il Museo francescano; l’OPAC di Biblioteche Cappuccine in Internet e l’Authority Data Base; le pagine WEB dell’Archivio Generale; la Directory delle Istituzioni Culturali dell’Ordine (29-31 agosto).
b) Indicazioni operative a partire dal Vademecum per i Beni Culturali dell’Ordine:
sono predisposti incontri di gruppo e sessioni plenarie di analisi ed approfondimento del documento “Vademecum per i Beni Culturali” (1-2 settembre).
Seguirà, come di consueto, il programma dettagliato delle lezioni, dei dibattiti e delle esercitazioni. Le spese del Corso comprendono la retta di soggiorno presso il Collegio San Lorenzo da Brindisi (Euro 40,00 al giorno) e la quota una tantum per la Segreteria (Euro 50,00). A coloro che ne faranno richiesta sarà consegnato un attestato di partecipazione. Chi desidera aderire al Corso è pregato di dare conferma, indicando (per telefono, posta, e-mail o fax, ai recapiti indicati in intestazione) le date della sua permanenza al Collegio entro il 30 giugno 2011.

Dear Archivists, Librarians and Directors of Capuchin Museums,
Continuing our initiative to promote a broader collaboration among the cultural institutions of the Order, we wish to let you know about the 2011 In-service Course for Religious and Lay Workers of Capuchin Libraries, Archives and Museums. This in-service course is for those who offer their cultural service in the circumscriptions and friaries of our Order. It will be held at the Saint Laurence of Brindisi International College in Rome, from Monday 29th August to Saturday 3rd September 2011.
The course is intended for both lay and religious who work in our libraries, archives and museums. Specific days of the course are assigned to Archives, Museums and Libraries. There will also be a guided tour of the Vatican Library. The course will be conducted in Italian and English.
Themes of the Course:
a) Collaboration between Cultural Institutions of the Order through the computer systems in use in the General Archive, in the Central Library and in the Franciscan Museum, with illustration of the Internet portal and of the information services offered by the involved Capuchin cultural Institutions:
themes to be treated are: the updating of computer systems, with reference also to those currently in use in the General Archive, in the Central Library and in the Franciscan Museum; the OPAC of Capuchin Libraries on the Internet and the Authority Data Base; the WEB pages of the Capuchin General Archive; the Directory of the Capuchin cultural Institutions (29th-31st August).
b) Operating guidelines on the basis of the Handbook for the Cultural Assets of the Order:
working groups and plenary sessions are provided to analyse and deepen the aim and the guidelines contained in the document "Handbook for the Cultural Assets of the Order" (1st-2nd September).
As usual we will send the would-be-participants a detailed programme of the presentations, discussions and practical sessions. The cost of the Course includes board and lodging at San Lorenzo da Brindisi College (40 Euro per day) and a single registration fee of 50 Euro. A certificate of participation will be issued on request. Please confirm your participation before 30th June 2011 via one of the numbers/addresses above, indicating the days of your stay at the College.
